Bahati possesses a highly skilled and experienced Commodities Trading team and is witnessing substantial growth in this area of its business. We trade in Agri (wheat/grain, pulses, oils, corn, feeds), Energy (diesel, petrol, illuminating paraffin and ethanol) and base metals (chrome, copper, lithium and cobalt). 

Our source markets for agri are centered around Southern Africa with key destinations being across the MENA region, Turkey, Africa and the Indian Sub-continent. For energy and metals, we trade across Europe, Middle-east, Asia and Africa. 

We believe in adding value to our customers across all points of the supply chain process and pride ourselves on our efficient, professional and customer centric services.

 Our relationships with medium-sized and smaller mining operations across Africa gives us a unique window into special lots of copper, cobalt, chrome, lithium and a few rare earth metals for our customers. We are uniquely placed to handle increased requirements for metals for manufacturing firms in periods of commodity price volatility. We supply these mining houses with inputs like sulphur, sodium nitrate, caustic soda and associated inputs. 

  Food is a basic human requirement. We are committed to bringing affordable, quality food to communities and firms that serve them. Farmers are the backbone of the food supply chain. Achieving fair prices means bringing a holistic approach to grain and food procurement. Where necessary, we will do zero margin business to achieve this goal.
